Jim Gaffigan

Jim Gaffigan, known for his self-deprecating humor and jokes about fatherhood, has a surprising athletic background that most wouldn’t guess. In college, he wasn’t hunched over a desk writing jokes. He was on the football field!
Jim, a lineman for Georgetown and Purdue, played offensive guard and tackle, showcasing his strength and teamwork skills. A dare from a friend, perhaps inspired by a late-night dorm room conversation, led him to stand-up comedy, where he found unexpected success. Jim has since sold out Madison Square Garden and appeared on shows like “That ’70s Show,” “Ed,” and “S*x and the City.”
