Jason Statham

We may know him for dominating action films, but Jason Statham was already a real-life daredevil. He was an elite high diver, competing for the British National Diving squad for 12 years.

This dedication to athleticism prepared Jason for the physical demands of acting when his career took a surprising turn after being cast by Guy Ritchie in “Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels.” A background in diving and rigorous martial arts training allows him to perform many of his own stunts. This commitment to realism even led to a near-death experience while filming “Expendables 3” when a brake failure sent Jason’s truck into the Black Sea!
