Mark Harmon

Mark Harmon, the charismatic agent Leroy Gibbs on “NCIS,” has an impressive background beyond catching bad guys as a star quarterback for the UCLA Bruins. He led his team to several victories on the gridiron. His athletic prowess wasn’t the only thing impressive; Mark graduated cum laude with a degree in communications, proving his intelligence alongside his physical talents.

Despite his success on the field, Mark turned down an NFL career to pursue other interests. His breakout role as Dr. Robert Caldwell on “St. Elsewhere” catapulted him into acting stardom. Mark’s love for sports continues today, as he part-owns the minor league baseball team, the San Bernardino Spirit.
