A Rather Out-There Solution

Knowing the danger that the Arctic and Antarctica are in, scientists and researchers around the world are scrambling to find solutions to stop the regions from melting. A team from Columbia University and Potsdam, Germany-based institutions came up with a rather out-there strategy to solve the problem in the Antarctic west.
In their study, the group proposed the use of artificial snow shot through cannons to stabilize the glaciers in the region. They estimated that about 7.4 trillion tons of snow would be needed to turn this into a reality.
