The Fight Carries On

Despite attempts to derail the movement, the fight to address climate change carries on. The Paris Agreement, a legally binding treaty that seeks to keep warming levels to 35.6 degrees Fahrenheit, is still in effect since it was put into force in 2016.
An international agreement that would surely earn its place in history textbooks, the landmark treaty, was signed by 190 countries in 2015. It offers its signatories assistance when it comes to technical and even financial matters. Five years into effectivity, the accord has seemingly inspired nations to find innovative solutions to meet their goals.
