Boris Becker – Sportler, 5 Millionen Euro

As the youngest Wimbledon winner of all time, Boris Becker became a tennis superstar almost overnight in 1985. Bum-Bum-Becker has won 49 tournaments, including six Grand Slams, in the course of his tennis career. Prize money, advertising deals and business investments quickly made him a multi-millionaire. His tournament wins alone earned him over $25 million, making Becker one of the highest paid tennis players of all time. After retiring from professional tennis in 1999, the athlete earned his living as a sports commentator, as a coach for tennis player Novak Djokovic and as a talk show guest. But bad investments, insolvency proceedings as well as expensive divorces and alimony payments have reduced his once impressive figure from 100 million euros to around 5 million euros.
