After his success as a ski racer in the 1960s, Willy Bogner Jr. devoted himself to the family business, which is now one of the market leaders when it comes to ski clothing. He took over the management in 1977 after his father died. Willy also rose to prominence as a filmmaker, having directed his own ski films over the years as well as scenes for a number of James Bond films. Along with his late wife Sônia, he adopted three children over the years. Sadly, one of them died as an infant and his son Bernhard took his own life at the age of 17. Willy now lives a fairly reclusive life. His net worth is a total of 40 million euros.
