Prince Philip – The Groom’s Grandfather

Prince Philip sadly passed away in April 2021 from natural causes at the age of 99, but he will forever be remembered for all his contributions to the aristocratic family. He attended his grandsons’ marriage ceremonies and dressed the part. For the 2018 ceremony, he wore a black tailored suit paired with a regal blue tie.

Seven years earlier when witnessing the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge exchanging vows, Philip wore a red Grenadier Guards Uniform. Several medals adorned the outfit showcasing his numerous achievements as part of the Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, and the British Army.
