Frances Kydd, Carole Middleton, & Doria Ragland  – The Accessories

Going back in time, Frances Shand Kydd, Lady Diana’s mother, wore a lilac-colored outfit. It wasn’t by chance because just happened to compliment the blue sapphire band Charles presented to Diana when he popped the big question. Kydd paired her look with a pearl necklace.

It’s the same band that Middleton received from her husband on her big day. Perhaps the colorful hat that Carole wore had hints of blue as well as silver-blue shoes as an ode to the unofficial tradition. Ragland truly stood out from other royal mothers of the wife-to-be with her diamond nose gem. Her pistachio ensemble toned it down.
