Kate Middleton & Meghan Markle – Multi-tiered Cakes

William and Middleton’s reception featured an eight-tiered fruit cake as well as a chocolate biscuit treat. The fruitcake is traditionally the royal choice, and the second was the groom’s cake – Will’s favorite. Additionally, Will asked for a frozen chocolate biscuit cake instead of having it baked.

Fiona Cairns did the honor of baking Middleton and William’s reception dessert. Harry and Markle broke tradition by choosing a lemon elderflower cake decorated topped off with buttercream. Claire Ptak, from the London-based Violet Cakes, baked their reception treat.
