Kate Middleton & Meghan Markle – The War of the Tiaras

Members of the British aristocratic family are considered style icons. They always step out looking elegant and sophisticated, but their outfits still lean towards the modest side. When it comes to tiaras, only married women get the honor of wearing them for special occasions.

Middleton wore yet another borrowed item for her big day in the form of Queen Elizabeth’s Cartier Halo Tiara. Her Majesty received it as a gift when celebrating her 18th birthday. Markle also donned one of the Queen’s headpieces which notably featured a diamond center stone inherited from Queen Mary.
