A man swimming in the waters of South Beach in Miami must have had the fright of his life when a shark swam dangerously close to him. Professional photographer Kenny Melendez was showing off his camera drone when he spotted the sea creature. Zooming in, he realized it was a seven to nine-foot tiger shark.

Fortunately, the shark didn’t seem interested in the swimmer, but Melendez was shocked at how close it came. It’s moments like these that demonstrate the benefits of using a drone like the Parrot BeBop to capture fast-paced photos that would be impossible to get otherwise.
