Queen Mother & Queen Elizabeth II – A Queen Looking At A Future Queen

The photo above was taken way back in the 1940s, and it shows Queen Elizabeth and the Queen Mother tenderly looking at each other. Queen Elizabeth II clearly got her nice smile from her mother, but it seems like they share very similar eyes and noses as well. The Queen Mother’s reign lasted from 1936 until 1952. She also spent eleven years as the Empress of India. The Queen Mother was basically the one who taught Queen Elizabeth II everything there is to know about being a good queen. She sadly passed away back in 2002 at the age of 101.
