Queen Elizabeth II – A Baby Who Was Destined To Be Queen

We are used to seeing adorable photos of the new generation of royal babies, but photographed above is Queen Elizabeth II when she was one herself. Her mother and father, the Queen Mother and King George VI, seem to be very much smitten with their newborn daughter. During Queen Elizabeth II’s birth, her grandfather King George V was still the reigning monarch. When King George V got really sick in the late 1920s, Queen Elizabeth II just improved his overall mood. Queen Elizabeth II never went to a private school and she and her sister were homeschooled growing up.
