Arnold Schwarzenegger

At 72, Arnold Schwarzenegger has made quite the journey. Born in Austria in 1947 where he spent a somewhat difficult childhood, he became a bodybuilding champion and at the age of 20 obtained the title of Mister Olympia in the discipline. With this status in hand, he flew to the United States where he spent the rest of his life until today. There, he took his first steps as an actor and became famous in the 1980s by playing the role of Terminator in James Cameron’s film. In the 1990s, his career was no longer in good shape and the actor turned to politics. He was elected Governor of California at the age of 56, twenty years after obtaining American citizenship. Eight years later, he founded the NGO R20 to fight against climate change, making the environment his top priority.
