Susan Boyle

Before appearing on the TV show ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, Boyle had tried to send demo tapes to various record labels, but didn’t get very far. She mostly sang in her local choir, but, inspired by the memory of her mother, she applied for the Britain’s Got Talent auditions and was accepted. After finishing second in the show’s finale, Susan was admitted to a clinic for five days after suffering exhaustion from the intense media attention over the previous five weeks. She, however, made a full recovery and had a difficult tour. In 2010, she released her second album “The Gift”.
