Michel Sardou

Considered since the 1970s as a committed singer even if Michel Sardou does not agree, he then had his biggest successes from 1981 and chained hits such as Les lacs du Connemara, Musulmanes or Un jour la liberté. Driven by music since his early childhood, Michel Sardou uses writing and song to tell everything, love as well as injustice, racism or war.
Always a bit of a whistleblower, he is considered one of the greatest French singers and has inspired many projects, such as La Famille Bélier by Eric Lartigau in 2014, musically dedicated to the artist’s work. In 2017, he said goodbye to performing and is enjoying his wife and four children and five grandchildren.
