Jean Pierre Foucault

After beginnings on the radio, Jean-Pierre Foucault made a name for himself in the early 1980s on television, notably through the program l’Académie des Neuf on France Télévisions. But it was in 1987 on TF1 that the host became essential with Sacrée Soirée which was on the air until 1994 then rescheduled in 2007, 2008 and 2009 before being abandoned again.

For the youngest, Jean-Pierre is of course the man with questions and presenter of the game Who wants to be a millionaire? extremely popular throughout the 2000s. The program was however stopped after Foucault’s departure three years ago and then resumed in 2019 with a new headliner: Camille Combal.
