There are few people who wouldn’t stop to stare at squirrels because the rodents are interesting and cute. They are often busy searching for food and will typically abandon caution to take any food that humans offer. Squirrels thrive on a mostly vegetarian diet.

They eat vegetables, fruits, and seeds, and nuts are their favorites. The one above came across corn on the cob and he couldn’t resist going to town on it.
