Open For Acorns

Squirrels are as diverse as they are spread out throughout the world, and 200 species are found just about everywhere except for Australia. The variations include the African pygmy which is the tiniest of the lot. Then there are flying squirrels that live pretty much like birds.
The ones above are a species of ground squirrel known for eating plants, seeds, roots, and nuts. They look like they are playing a championship game with an acorn as their ball. On the other hand, we believe they were just hanging around a tree waiting for acorns to fall down into their open hands.
