The Tale of the Flying Bike

It is cool to see people opting for bikes rather than motor vehicles because they want to save on gas or decrease their carbon footprint. While there are places more suited to park bikes, this particular one chose to take a slot dedicated to cars.

There must be a reason why they did this. However, whether the biker intentionally did it or not, it was still rude to throw their bike away. Unfortunately, this somehow mirrors the bikers’ situation on the road. According to Abels & Annes, even if bicyclists are wearing a helmet, they aren’t 100 percent protected from bigger vehicles that could knock them off.
