Being Athletic Runs in the Blood

Paige’s interest in athletics should not be a mystery. Her father, Dan, played football for the University of Pittsburg’s team and even helped them win the 1976 national championship. Her mother was a professional ballerina, and though it is not a sport, it requires tremendous physical skills.
Her older sister, Lexie, was a track star and even received an athletic scholarship to Stanford because of it. Naturally, it rubbed off on Paige, too, and she found her calling in gymnastics. She was brilliant enough to receive an invitation from the Olympic training center. This was perfect, as it was her dream to be a part of the Olympics team.
