In their write-up of Paige, they referred to her as someone who had made golf slightly enjoyable to people and recognized Paige with golf’s changing paths to stardom. There was significant criticism of the cover, though with some unhappy spectators that the cover should be someone else. They said that Paige was featured only to sell the magazine. Regardless, Paige nudged the negative comments and still graced the magazine with her beauty.
