Partially Perfect

At times, it seems that perfection is attainable, at least based on what our eyes can see. However, there’s more to it than what meets the eye. The increased focus on perfectionism has been observed in young people over the past 30 years. Social media may be partly responsible too.

This T-shirt slogan is a sarcastic take on that addictive belief system that shapes us as a society. It gently reminds the onlookers that none of us are perfect. Yes, some of us might boast an ideal body, but that does not make us perfect. As the hourglass-shaped icon Marilyn Monroe once said, “Imperfection is beauty.”
