Break the Stereotypes

Age-appropriate behaviors may be a useful framework for children, but it’s unfair to impose these same expectations on adult women. Why should a 50-year-old woman be judged for enjoying a night out with friends or for dressing in a way that makes her feel good? These are negative stereotypes that women are trying to break through.

Thankfully, there has been some progress in recent years toward easing the restrictions and invisibility that midlife women often face. Women these days accept the age they are and try to focus on the positives. The shirt slogan might help women of all ages have fun even as they age.
