Prohibitions for a Mormon

Mormonism is a religious tradition and theology within the Latter-Day Saint movement, which was founded by Joseph Smith in the 1820s and 1830s. The Saints, as they are also known, follow a set of health guidelines known as the Word of Wisdom, which were revealed to Smith in 1833.

Today, these guidelines advise Mormons to abstain from coffee, tobacco, and alcohol. They are also encouraged to limit body piercings and avoid tattoos.
