However, the underlying message in this statement is directed toward people who lack intelligence, commonly referred to as “idiots.” Dealing with these individuals can be challenging for those who consider themselves non-idiots. Regardless, to accomplish our work, we must interact with them. Idiots can be of various types, but the most exasperating are those who don’t believe in mental illness in any form. This slogan is a wake-up call of sorts.
