Putting The ‘Horse’ in ‘Horsepower’

In the rest of the world, water skiing is a fun summer activity in which an individual is pulled behind a boat at high speed. In Russia, it’s slightly different: not only because summertime is optional, but because a boat is too! In the Motherland, all the horsepower you need is the power of a horse.
Russia makes for a horse-loving country in which you can find some of the last-living specimens of the rare Przewalski’s horse, also known as the Mongolian wild horse. According to the Morris Animal Foundation, there are less than 2,000 Przewalski’s horses living in captivity or the wild in the entire world.
