Now We’ve Seen It All…

We’ve learned a lot about Russia by now. We’ve seen brown bears run from people; brown bears run into people, people on top of brown bears, and brown bears catching a cab. But brown bears riding a horse? We never saw this one coming!

It turns out that horse-riding bears aren’t as rare as most people assume and make for a well-known circus trick. There are two active resident circus shows in Moscow: Circus Nikulin on Tsvetnoy Boulevard and Bolshoi Circus on Vernadsky Avenue. If you visit them, there’s a good chance you will see a bear riding a horse.
