Why Pay For a Babysitter When a Fence Works For Free?

Russians aren’t known for being cheap, but they don’t like to waste their money either. You don’t have to pay for a babysitter in Russia when there’s a fence nearby. You can always drop your baby in there and leave him hanging until you come back. It will not make the “Parenting” magazine cover, but hey, what doesn’t kill your baby can only make him stronger, right?

Westerners might say Russian parents are negligent, and Russians would say foreign parents are overprotective. Either way, one thing’s for sure: if there’s a country where people know how to resist adversity, that’s Russia!
