Matryoshkas Everywhere!

Putting things inside slightly bigger things is a Russian tradition. Following the Matryoshka way of thinking, this group of Russian men attempts to fit a white car inside the back of a pick-up truck. Because they’re Russian, they haven’t considered using proper lifting equipment: good ol’ Russian manpower will do!

This picture is emblematic of the Motherland for two reasons: first, because it’s kind of crazy from a Westerner’s point of view. And second, because it’s a beautiful display of friendship, community, and of getting together to achieve a common goal despite all of the hardships.
