”Enter the Dragon,” 1973

“Enter the Dragon” is an undeniably trailblazing achievement in genre filmmaking and is rightfully considered to be one of Bruce Lee’s best works. Many people don’t know this, but the movie almost didn’t happen because Lee wanted it to be absolutely perfect. He wanted creative control of the script, but Warner Brothers had different plans.
So he penned down a letter to the executives claiming that his intention was to make the very best ”action motion picture that has ever been made.” The studio executives eventually accepted his request, and Lee managed to make a genuinely great film, just like he had promised Warner Brothers.
