“Jungle” Pam Hardy

In this photo, you see not just a hot rod enthusiast but a woman known to be the drag racing queen of funny car circuits, Jungle Pam; her real name is Pamela Hardy. She planned on going to college, but that was until she met “Jungle” Jim Liberman, who eventually turned her interests toward joining his drag racing run.

Pam recalls how she met Jim while strolling down the street. He rolled up in his Corvette and asked if she wanted to hang out. After experiencing her first funny car race, she was enthralled by the new world she had stepped into and immediately fell in love with everything about it.
