Elvis Presley and Ann-Margret Boogie in 1964

Elvis and Ann-Margret were infamous for their instant chemistry, which was apparent throughout costarring with each other in three movies. Although he was with his young love at the time, Priscilla, and did not want to ruin that relationship, he did not try anything with Ann. But there remained an unsaid romance between them ever since the set of “Viva Las Vegas.”
Presley’s bodyguard, who was also his friend of many years, was later noted as saying that when the duo appeared together, they were comparable to a ‘house fire.’ Despite the rare connection, Elvis maintained his love for Priscilla and eventually gave up any hope of being with Ann.
