Barbi Benton was only 18 years old when she first appeared in Playboy magazine. Not only that, but Benton also had a romantic relationship with the magazine’s scion Hugh Hefner for seven years. Benton was more than an erotic model, however, and she went on to pop up on shows like “The Love Boat,” ”Fantasy Island,” ”Hollywood Squares,” and ”The Girls Next Door.”

She also released her first solo album in the ’70s and worked in television. After her very wild and happening career, Benton retired to pursue family life and gave the limelight up to raise her children while traveling between Los Angeles and Aspen.
