Alexandra Bastedo, the Centerpiece of the Show “The Champions”

Alexandra Bastedo was a British actress who became famous for being an advocate for animal rights. She even founded a rescue shelter at her home in West Sussex called Alexandra Bastedo Champions (ABC) Animal Sanctuary. It’s a place where rescued goats, horses, cats, pigs, and dogs could take refuge and stay safe from the tortured and mortifying lives they had to survive.

Bastedo also did a tremendous job in the ’60s television series “The Champions” and even appeared in iconic TC shows such as “EastEnders” and “Batman Begins.” However, several critics unfairly overlooked her performances in these early projects despite her stunning appearance and obvious talent.
