Alyssa Milano on the Hit 80’s Sitcom, “Who’s the Boss?”

Alyssa Milano appeared on the hit 80’s show “Who’s The Boss,” playing the role of a young teenage girl Samantha Micelli. The sitcom paved the road for Milano as she was initially recognized after her appearance alongside Tony Danza. The show revved her career upward, but it came with its disadvantages.

Milano later shared with Entertainment Weekly that she would frequently be stopped in the streets and reminded of the one episode in which she had to purchase a bra, which became exhausting for her to bear over time. People would even stop her in the streets and say things like, “You’re getting older!” or ”you’re growing up!”
