Lynda Carter was already famous for her role in “Wonder Woman” and was at the peak of her fame when this picture was taken. She participated in the 1976 swimming competition in “The Battle of the Network Stars,” appearing alongside Farrah Fawcett, Ron Howard, and Penny Marshall, all very well-known figures.

The battle allowed different television stars to riff off against each other in Olympic-based sports like volleyball, tug-of-war, relay races as well as getting thrown into a dunk tank. Of course, the show was a massive hit since it allowed viewers to watch their favorite celebrities compete for the top spot.
