Loretta Swit, Alan Alda, Wayne Rogers and McLean Stevenson in ”M*A*S*H,” 1972

The iconic television series “M*A*S*H” was known as a dark comedy and a light for many people in the ’70s and ’80s. It was more than a show to some fans; it provided a light-hearted and fun getaway as many were going through the eleven years of the Korean War.

The show was set in a military base’s hospital and followed the subject line of the stressful situation of doctors and patients in the hospital, all the while maintaining an entertaining and lively environment. The series made good remarks and information about the difficulties and problems faced during the time, providing a good balance of drama and entertainment.
