Brunette  Brigitte Bardot

In 1956, Brigitte Bardot bleached her hair to film an Italian movie and loved it enough that she never returned to her natural brown locks. The media always considered her a style icon, although Bardot never consciously set out to set trends and influence how people looked.

In her movies, she can be seen wearing pieces from her own personal wardrobe and minimal makeup as that’s all she could do. Her naturally gorgeous looks, however, were enough to acquire her a fanbase. Bardot is still with us. Though long retired from Hollywood, she now spends her time advocating for wildlife conservation.
