Marilyn Monroe Pouring Her Husband a Drink in 1958

This capture courtesy of Life Magazine’s archives is from its pictorial “A Night with the Millers.” It shows Marilyn Monroe and her beau at the time, playwright Arthur Miller, who happened to be her third husband.
They met each other on the set of the movie “As Young As You Feel” and immediately clicked, later proven by what she wrote in her diary the night after: “Met a man tonight…It was, bam! It was like running into a tree. You know, like a cool drink when you’ve had a fever.” Despite their instant connection and walk down the aisle, their union didn’t last long.
