She made it acceptable to be both glamorous and motherly. Many have compared her to Marilyn Monroe and other blonde bombshells. She received more press coverage than anyone else in Hollywood at the time.

The media referred to her as ‘The First Reality Star.’ Mansfield lived a life in the public eye and enjoyed that attention and fame. However, her career ended too soon as, at the age of 34, she passed away. Reportedly due to a traffic collision.
