Rhodesian Ridgeback

Rhodesian Ridgebacks are muscular hunting dogs with predatory instincts. This dog is a South African breed of dog bred from a mixture of local dog and European dog breeds. Rhodesian Ridgebacks are willing to take on anything that seems like a threat to their family, even an innocent intruder.

This breed, a dog of about 85 pounds due to its size, can easily cause harm if not properly trained or socialized. These dogs are known for their fierceness, bravery, and fearlessness; they were bred to hunt, corner, and hold down big prey like lions and boars. Even today, this energetic drive still exists in the breed.
