Boerboel

The Boerboel is powerful and quite heavy, weighing around 120 and 200 pounds. Initially, it was bred to offer protection to families, provide company when game hunting while still being warm-hearted towards their owners. When they sense oncoming danger, these mammals become very vicious and safeguards their puppies no matter what.

If it’s the first time you are acquiring this canine, American Kennel Club recommends caution and advance socialization as it can pose a risk to its keeper if not well trained. However, it is also very doting and devoted if raised under the right conditions.
