American Bulldog

As a descendant of the English bulldog, the American bulldog was originally used for onerous farming and battles. With such great reviews from the American Kennel Club characterizing it as loyal and self-confident, it is among the top family favorite dog breed.
Don’t be fooled by its loyalty, though, because these canines are very strong, well-built, and huge. If not raised in a controlled environment where they are constantly cared for, the bulldog can become very volatile. Therefore, in homes with small children and other tiny pets, this breed may not be the best to own as it poses a danger to them.
