Basenji

Did you know that the Basenji cannot bark? Instead, they yodel as a way of passing information and that is why they are commonly referred to as “barkless dogs”. This type of breed has been around for over five millenniums and since then it has needed constant stimulation.

In spite of weighing way less – 22-24 pounds, these canines exude exuberance and tend to run every so often. However, if you are unable to understand its yodels or have no time for its exercise sessions then the Basenji won’t be so friendly anymore.
