Best known for their skills to rescue people during Winter from the snow, Saint Bernard is among the most sought-after dog variety worldwide. They are said to come from the Swiss Alps and are usually very clever and affectionate. Nevertheless, if not rightly coached, they can become very vicious.

The males’ weight ranges from 140 to 180 while the females weigh anywhere between 120 to 140 pounds; thus, characterized as very strong. At times their strength may cause harm to little ones while playing; therefore, it is better to train them professionally to avoid such cases.
