The hound in the image undoubtedly looks adorable, like a teddy bear, but don’t let this cute face fool you. Caucasian Shepherd or Caucasian Ovcharka is a confident, robust, dangerous, and aggressive canine. Although, if trained properly, they can also become great household pets.

Caucasians have a larger frame, and their weight can reach up to 200 pounds, and usually, a fully grown adult dog lives for ten to twelve years. Primarily, people used to breed them for livestock guarding and herding, which seems like an appropriate job according to their size and structure.
