An endless assortment of drinks is just what the doctor ordered for us to stay hydrated and refreshed this summer. Health experts advise that it’s best to consume any food or beverages that can lower the perspiration rate when humidity is at its’ peak.
And no, they don’t have to be alcoholic cocktails; fruit juices, smoothies, and soft drinks are all on the menu. A 2019 survey revealed that 62 percent of the participants said bananas were their favorite fruit for smoothies—unsurprising, considering they are delicious and an excellent source of nutrients like potassium and magnesium.
