Fern-Tangled Tracks in the Mist

Have you ever trekked through a forest where history whispered through the trees? On Tai Ping Shan Mountain in northern Taiwan, an abandoned railway weaves through a clouded forest, now blanketed by ferns. Constructed in the early 20th century, this railway once stretched for miles, connecting logging camps to bustling towns.
By the 1970s, deforestation and shifting industries led to its abandonment. However, nature has claimed the tracks, transforming them into a green pathway through mist and mystery. This surreal setting, reminiscent of “Spirited Away,” invites adventurers to wander through a landscape where the past and nature intertwine in a dreamlike embrace.
